The Payments solution can accommodate both for in-store and ecommerce. Depending on your business case, you can choose to enable one or both channels.

Nomupay offers several integration options to accommodate for different customer needs. To assess the best solution for you, the below can be used as a reference guide. However, we always recommend that youcontact our solutioning team for a more detailed evaluation of your specific use case.

Each of the payment channels and their associated integration options are fully integrated with Nomupay’s unified platform. This unified approach means that you can, where supported, access the entirety of Nomupay's countries and payment methods through both physical and digital purchasing channels.

See the payment methodssection for more information on payment method availability by channel and country.

In-Store Channel

The in-store channel is for payment acceptance and makes it easy to accept cards and local APMs at one or more in-person locations. The in-store channel supports standalone POS terminals or terminals integrated with a cashier system. POS terminals can be:

  • Provided by your organisation, or
  • Provided by a 3rd party service provider.

The in-store channel can be enabled by merchants, platforms, marketplaces and reseller partners by either:

  • Integrating directly with Nomupay’s in-store API, or
  • Integrating via a Nomupay reseller partner.

We recommend that you integrate directly via the in-store API, if you:

  1. Have your own software, and
  2. Have access to terminals (via 3rd party or own).

However, as mentioned above Nomupay also offers the possibility to integrate via a Nomupay reseller partner. Therefore, to assess your specific in-store use case please contact our solutioning team.

Ecommerce Channel

The ecommerce channel is for digital payment acceptance and makes it easy to accept cards and local APMs at one or more locations.

The ecommerce channel can be enabled by merchants, platforms, marketplaces, and reseller partners by either;

  • Integrating directly with Nomupay’s ecommerce API, or
  • Integration via a Nomupay associated gateway.

We recommend that you integrate directly via the ecommerce API if you:

  1. Have your own PCI Level 1 compliant gateway,
  2. Host your own check-out page, and
  3. If required for the given market, have the ability to provide EMV 3DS (via 3rd party or own).

However, as mentioned above Nomupay also offers the possibility to integrate via one of Nomupay's associated gateways:

  • Nomupay Gateway
  • Cardstream Gateway
  • Cardinity Gateway

Choosing the gateway which best accommodates your business case will depend on which countries, payment methods, and gateway features you are looking for.

Please visit the ecommerce payment methods section for more information on payment method availability by country and integration option. Additionally, the Gateway Features section below outlines the available branding, integration types, shopping carts, etc. per gateway.

We also recommend that you contact our solutioning team to assess your specific ecommerce use case.
